Windows 7 - Where are my language packs?

8/13/2009

In Vista, langauge packs show up as optional Windows updates. Some of you may be wondering why they are not showing up in Windows 7, even when manually selected from Control Panel.

Windows 7 is RTM, but it is not available to the general public yet. Currently only English is available and the other languages are on a release schedule. After they are completed and released they will show up as optional Windows updates, just like Vista.
