Everyone is familiar with the phrase repeated in airports over the speakers "Please report unattended baggage. Do not leave unattended baggage as it will be removed and destroyed". On a recent trip to Rome, I saw this extremely unusually placed unattended bag.
I am really quite puzzled. What purpose does the suitcase serve and how did it get there?
