Rocket Add Ons
8/26/2007
What could be more fun than a rocket launcher controlled by a Wiimote? A rocket launcher, TWO Wiimotes, and a camera.
Here are a few of my latest experiments with the Wiimote controlled rocket launcher.
Watch them rockets fly!
Now you can get a first person view and really feel in the the midst of battle. This should be fun to put on the projector in one of my upcoming presentations. The black thing is a Microsoft Lifecam.

Rocket Launcher with Sensors
The rocket launcher has no sensors to detect position or movement. There are some rough ways to estimate and track that I am experimenting with. However I also noted that I have two Wiimotes, and since the Wiimote has motion sensors that can detect axis in three dimensions, why not try the other Wiimote? It works perfectly well. I am still experimenting with the code a bit.
