2/13/2010 - Bing Windows 7 Theme

Fortunately you can use the Bing images for your desktop in Windows 7. More...

10/9/2009 - Has 64 bit on the desktop finally come of age?

I've tried to go to 64 bit several times. I've even run 64 bit for several months at a time. But drivers and other incompatibilities always forced me back to 32 bit. More...

9/11/2009 - Title Check

Always give titles a second read, just in case. Here is another one from CNN, which repeatedly proves to be a place to find such items. More...

8/22/2009 - Devilish Drivers

A bad driver really can ruin your day. Actually that is optimistic, I wish I could have limited the damage to just a single day. If you have a D-Link DWA-520, I hope this will save you the headaches I suffered. More...

So we can install Visual Studio 2008 SP1 in less time than it takes for paint to dry. More...

8/13/2009 - NVIDIA versus Intel - Night and Day

I currently prefer Intel over AMD for desktop processing, but mostly because of the greater choice in motherboards. Regarding chipsets though, I have had nothing but repeated nightmares with poor performing Intel chipsets, and extremely buggy drivers from Intel. More...

8/13/2009 - Windows 7 - Where are my language packs?

In Vista, langauge packs show up as optional Windows updates. Some of you may be wondering why they are not showing up in Windows 7, even when manually selected from Control Panel. More...
