Super Strong Passwords
11/18/2006
How strong can a password be? Well this system certainly puts that to a test.
Developers are often at odds with security staff. Sure, we as developers are
lazy. But we do not mind reasonable security measures. But too often security
people become like government bureaucrats just making up stuff without thinking
about the real impact. Take a look at this password policy. Now the sad part is,
this policy is only going to cause people to more frequently write their
passwords down. And just think of all the office workers spending time trying to
conform to this.

Is there a prize for the first person who can actually make a
password that conforms to these rules in under one hour?
